Sweet Clay

Not only can you sculpt with this awsome clay, you can eat it!


What you Need
  • 1 pound powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 cup margarine (softened)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 5-7 drops food coloring



How to Make it
  1. Mix all ingredients together in small bowl until blended. If the mixture is too sticky, add more powdered sugar.
  2. Sculpt with your candy clay to create differant animals, pretend fruits and other sculptures you can eat.


Tips & Ideas
  • Experiment by using differant colors & differant flavors of extract(banana, almond, vanilaa, etc)
  • Use Clay sculptures to decorate the top of your favorite desert

Silly Prezels

Creat soft tasty Pretzels in differant silly shapes & sizes


What you Need

  • 1 package yeast
  • 1 Tbs. sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg, beaten


How to Make it
  1. Mix water & yeast together in a large bowl until the yeast dissolves
  2. Add, salt, sugar, and flour
  3. Mix & knead the dough until it is smooth
  4. Roll & twist the dough into letters, numbers, & animal shapes
  5. Lay the pretzels on a greased cookie sheet, brush with beaten egg, then lightly sprinkle with extra salt
  6. Bake at 425 degrees for 12-15 minutes


Tips & Ideas
  • Add a few drops of food coloring to pretzels to make rainbow colored pretzels

Shake your Butter Maker

Have a last creating tasty butter in minutes by shaking a ziplock bag full of kitchen ingredients


What you Need
  • 1 large ziplock bag or container with lid
  • 1 pint heavy whipping cream
  • 1 pinch of salt


How to Make it
  1. Pour heavy whipping cream and salt into the large ziplock bag or container
  2. Seal bag or container
  3. After 15 minutes of shaking the bag, chunks of butter will start to form
  4. Drain excess liquid from the bag, then seal it.
  5. Store the butter in refridgerator until your ready to use it


Tips & Ideas
  • Push butter chunks into a candy mold, lace it in the refridgerator and pop out when hard.
  • Add 1 Tbs of honey or maple syrup to add more flavor to your butter.

Cocoa Bowl

This tasty chocolate bowl makthe perfect dessert when served full of ice cream or fresh fruit


What you Need
  • 1 small balloon
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips


How to Make it
  1. Pour chocolate chips in a microwave bowl and place in the microwave for 5 minutes on the medium setting. Remove from microwave and stir.
  2. Keep repeating the above process until the chocolate chips are melted.
  3. .Blow up the balloon, the dip it half way into the melted chocolate.
  4. Let the balloon cool 3-4 minutes & then redip it in the melted chcolate.
  5. Repeat step 4 until a thick layer of chcolate covers the ballon.
  6. Let chocolate cool for 1 hour and then pop the balloon with a pin.

  • Fill your chocolate bowl with a pudding, ice cream, fresh fruit or your favorite dessert

Eat an Ocean

This tasty treat is great for birthday parties & is sure to amaze kids of all ages


What you Need
  • 4 cups premade blueberry flavored gelatin
  • 4 clear plastic cups
  • Gummy fish


How to Make it
  1. Fill each cup with blueberry gelatin
  2. Genty place 1-2 gummy fish into each cup
  3. Top with whipped cream and serve


Tips & Ideas
  • Fill a clear plastic bag with blueberry gelatin. Place an orange gummy fish in the center of the gelatin & tie the bag shut with a ribbon. This project looks just like the goldfish in the bag many of us have won at the fair or carnival.
  • Make a large edible ocean by filling a new fish bowl full of blue gelatin and gummy fish. You can even use grapes for graveland shoestring licorice for seaweed.

Coca Spoons

Cocoa spoons are great for eating ice cream & stirring hot cocoa


What you Need
  • 1 cup ilk chocolate chips
  • 12 plastic spoons
  • wax paper



How to Make it
  1. Pour chocolate chips in a microwave bowl, place in microwave for 5 minutes,remove from microwave & stir.
  2. Repeat process till totally melted
  3. Dip the ends of spoons into the melted chocolate, then place them on wax paper to harden


Tips & Ideas
  • Try rolling your chocolate spoons in nuts and sprinkles before they harden
  • Turn your spoons into gifts. Wrap them with colored plastic ribbons

Fruity Rollers




What you Need
  • 2 cups applesauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • microwave safe plastic wrap
  • microwave safe tray


How to Make it
  1. Stir applesauce and honey together in a small bowl
  2. Line a microwave safe tray with plastic wrap
  3. Pour an 1/8" layer of the applesauce honey mixture on top of the plastic wrap
  4. Dry the mixture in the microwave on the medium setting for 3 minutes. Let the mixture cool for 3 minutes and then repeat the process until the fruity roller begins to dry. Results may vary depending on the wattage f the microwave.
  5. Remove the fruity rollers from the tray, keeping the plastic wrap as backing. Cut the rollers into strips & roll it up.


Tips & Ideas
  • For added flavor sprinkle the applesauce honey mixture with cinnamon before placing it in the microwave
  • Use whatever flavor applesauce you like

Bird Treats

Our feathered friends chirp over these tasty cookie treats that are for the birds


What you Need
  • 1 cup softened unsalted butter
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • mixed bird seed

How to Make it
  1. Stir flour, baking soda, & salt together into a large bowl.
  2. Add butter & eggs. Mix until well blended.
  3. Roll dough out on floured surface and cut differant shapes using cookie cutters.
  4. Make a hole in the top of each cookie using a drinking straw.
  5. Press bird seed into each side of the cookies.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
  7. Let cool and hang on a tree limb for the birds to eat.


Tips & Ideas
  • Make another great bird treat by covering a pine cone with peanut butter. Roll it in ird seed and hang from tree in same manner.

  • store bought sugar cookie dough

How to Make it
  1. Mix egg yolk & food coloring together in a small bowl. Repeat this process several different times to create various colors of cookie paint.
  2. Roll cookie dough out on wax paper & cut the cookies into differant shapes.
  3. Place your cookies on a greased cookie sheet.
  4. Use your cookie paint and paintbrushes to make various designs & pictures on your cookies.
  5. Bake as directed on package of cookie dough.

Shake~N~Fluff Cow Stuff

You can use a peanut butter jar and a few kitchen ingredients to create tasty whipped cream in minutes


What you Need
  • 1 large plastic peanut butter jar
  • 1 pint heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tps. vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbs. powdered sugar


How to Make it
  1. Pour heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, & vanilla extract into the peanut butter jar.
  2. Screw the lid on the jar as tightly as possible.
  3. Shake the jar in an up & down motion for 5-10 minutes or until it creates a thick fluffy cream.


Tips & Ideas
  • You can create differant flavors by adding flavored syrup or extracts.
  • Add a drop of food coloring to create color.

Cocoa Clay

With this project you can sculpt and eat your incredible clay creations.


What you Need
  • 10 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup light corn syrup


How to Make it
  1. Pour chocolate chips into mcrowave safe bowl & put in microwave on high for 1 minute.
  2. Stir and place back in microwave for 1 minuteor until chocolate is melted.
  3. Stir in the corn syrup.
  4. Spread chocolate out1/2 ich thick on a sheet of wax paper.
  5. Let chocolate sit overnight. It will stiffen and become pliable. Now you are ready to sculpt


Tips & Ideas
  • Make your clay in a wide variety of colors by using white chocolate chips and stirring in a few drops f food coloring before syrup is added.

  • 2 Tbs. milk
  • 2 drops food coloring
  • paintbrush
  • Slice of bread


How to Make it
  1. Mix milk & food coloring together in a small dish
  2. Use a paintbrush to paint a face or design on the slice of bread
  3. Toast the bread in toaster on light setting

  • Funny toast is great when used to make peanut butter and jelly or BLT sandwiches

  • 1 cup frosting
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 6-8 drops food coloring


How to Make it
  1. Mix frosting, powedered sugar, peanut butter and food coloring together in a large bowl
  2. Knead the mixture until it turns into dough
  3. Mold with frosting dough as you would any other dough

Candy Wreaths

This Creation is a great alternative to hanging candy canes on the Christmas tree


What you Need
  • Bg of peppermint discs
  • Small aluminum pie tins
  • Cookie sheet
  • Ribbon


How to Make it
  1. Arange peppermint discs in pie tins, in the shape of a circle, making sure the discs are touching each other. Place on cookie sheet.
  2. Place cookie sheet in preheated oven at 250 degrees for 3-5 minutes or until discs are melted together.
  3. Remove from oven and let cool for 15 minutes.
  4. Use a spatula to carefully remove discs from the pie tins.
  5. Use ribbon to tie a bow at top of the peppermint wreath.

  • Use differant types of hard cady and your imagination to create any other wreaths and original designs
