What you Need
- 1 red delicious appe
- 1 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup table salt
How to Make It
- Peel the apple
- Draw a face on the apple using a toothpick.
- Carve the face, hollowing out deep eyes with a potatoe peeler. Then use a paring knife to carve the nose and mouth.
- Roll the apple head in lemon juice and then roll it in the salt.
- Place the apple head on a cooling or drying rack & place in a dry area for 2 weeks or until it shrinks.

- Use markers to add color to the lips, eyes, and cheeks.

What you Need
- 1 cup Borax laundry booster
- 2 cups cornmeal
- Cardboard shoe box
- Fresh Flowers
How to Do it
- Mix Borax and cornmeal together
- Cover the bottom of the shoe box with 3/4 inch of the Borax cornmeal mixture
- Cut the stems off the flowers and then place the flowers face down into the mixture as flat as possible
- Pour the remaining mixture on top of he flowers until they are completely covered
- Place the lid on top of the shoe box and set it in a dry place at room temperature for 3-4 weeks
- Remove dried flowers from the shoe box

How to Do it

Fill the dish with 2-3 inches of potting soil.
- Moisten the soil with a plant mister.
- Use a pencil or stick to write words or draw a picture in the soil. This will create little trenches to plant the seeds in.
- Carefully sprinkle the grass seed into the trenches made with the pencil.
- Gently cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil & moisten with the plant mister.
- Place your dish in an area where it will receive plenty of sunlight.
- Lightly moisten the soil 1-2 times a day with the mister. Your name or picture will begin to sprout on 7-10 days.

- Cut carnation stems at an angel 5 inches away from the flower.

- After 24 hours the tip of the flower petals will have a light tint of color. The longer the flowers are left in th colored water, the brighter the color will be.

- Make a small hole in the soil with a pencil.
- Place a few seed in the hole, cover with soil, & water.
- Depending on the type of seed used, your Egg Man Garden will sprout in 7-10 days.

What you Need
- Small plastic ziplock bag
- 3 wet cotten balls
- 2-3 large seeds (beans work best)
- Clear tape
How to Create It
- Place the wet cotton balls in the ziplock bag with the seeds placed against them.
- Seal the bag & tape it to the window where it will receive plenty of sunlight. Your seed should begin to sprout in 3-5 days.
- After your sprouts grow at least 1 inch, you can transplant it in soil, so the plant may continue to grow.

- Make several Greenhouse baggies, using differant types of seed. Observe the seeds to see which ones sprout first and how fast the grow.

- White glue
- Dried beans (lima, pinto, black, kidney, etc)
- Heavy paper or cardboard
- Pencil
How to Create It
- Use a pencil & draw a picture on a heavy sheet of paper or cardboard.
- Use white glue to fill in a small area of the picture.
- Immediately cover the school glue with the beans. Repeat the process until the entire picture is completed.
